The Point Restaurant at Chances Signal Point to Re-open for Dine-In Service

July 8, 2020 – Gateway Casinos & Entertainment (Gateway) is excited to announce that The Point restaurant at Chances Signal Point will re-open for dine-in and takeout service on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Over the past month, Gateway has been phasing the re-opening of food & beverage locations across Canada, starting with MATCH locations in Langley Courtenay and Campbell River.
“We are very excited to re-open The Point and welcome back all 18 of our team members. The health and well-being of our employees and guests is our top priority,” says Todd Pollock, VP, Food & Beverage at Gateway Casinos.
Maintaining a clean environment is a year-round priority and it is regular practice to clean all hard surfaces, such as door handles and tables. Under the current environment, The Point is being hyper-vigilant in our cleaning protocols throughout our property to prevent the spread of transmittable illnesses, including COVID-19.
While things may look a bit different, your dining experience will be everything you remember. Guests will be able to enjoy the spectacular patio on those sunny summer days. The Point will implement a new virtual queue system that will allow guests to text to join the waitlist and safely wait in their vehicles until their table is ready. “This system will allow our staff to properly prepare the dining room for each guest, and ensure there is no congestion at the entrance as guests wait to be seated, ” says Pollock.
The restaurants will be open 7 days a week with adjusted hours of operation.
